It’s an honor to speak with you today. I would love to know more about your story and your background. Give us some details about your journey as an entrepreneur.

My name is Eynat Guez and I am the CEO and Co-founder of Papaya Global. I have more than 20 years of expertise in global workforce management and a BA in Business Administration and International Affairs.

In Papaya Global we employ 200 employees spread across the world, and we are experiencing remarkable year-over-year growth of 300%. The company has secured over 150 million USD in funding from esteemed US investors, including Bessmer Venture Partners, Insights Ventures, and Scale Ventures.

What’s your niche and why should someone choose you over your competitors in your field?

The three things that helped out business succeed are

The three most important challenges we faced include:

b) Scalability: As our client base grew rapidly, ensuring scalability while maintaining service quality was crucial. We needed to continuously enhance our infrastructure, systems, and processes to accommodate increasing demand and evolving customer needs.

c) Data security: Global payroll faces risks from storing and processing sensitive employee data across jurisdictions, complying with diverse data protection laws, integrating disparate systems, and evolving cyber threats. Robust security measures and proactive monitoring are essential for safeguarding payroll data.

How did you overcome those challenges?

To overcome these challenges, we took the following steps:

What’s your business model? How does your business make money?

We offer our platform and services to organizations that have global workforces and need efficient and compliant payroll and workforce management solutions. Our clients pay a subscription fee based on their specific requirements and the scope of services they utilize. Additionally, we offer value-added services and customized solutions that cater to the unique needs of our clients.

Where do you see yourself and your business in five years?

In five years, I envision Papaya Global revolutionizing the world of global payroll payments, setting the standard of payroll payments across the world. We will have expanded our presence in new markets, offering new and innovative finance services. Our platform will continue to evolve, incorporating the latest technologies and innovative features. We will have deepened our partnerships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner for their international workforce management needs.

What’s your piece of advice for people who want to quit their 9-5 job and start a business?

My advice for individuals who want to quit their 9-5 job and start a business is to thoroughly plan and prepare for the journey ahead. Starting a business requires dedication, perseverance, and a willingness to take calculated risks. Before making the leap, conduct thorough market research, define your value proposition, and develop a solid business plan. Seek guidance from mentors or professionals in your desired industry, build a strong support network, and be prepared for the challenges that may arise. To reach financial freedom, my advice is to focus on building multiple streams of income.
