We had the opportunity to sit down with Robin Diamond of Fifth & Cor. Here’s what is she is doing!

Can you tell our readers about your background?

Robin Dimond is the CEO and Founder of Fifth & Cor, a marketing & innovation company. Dimond brings over 15 years of experience that has led to a successful team and client success stories over the years. Passionate about the human experience, Dimond strives to bring sensory experiences and the heart back into all her team’s work, thus comes the name - Fifth (five senses) & Cor (Latin for heart).

What inspired you to start your business?

For me, that leap really came from seeing the market shift. I realized we couldn’t be a standard agency. It was just no longer an option. Instead, our relationship with our clients had to be a true partnership that was agile to the ever-changing needs of the market. I knew I needed to create a company that could pivot quickly and deliver immediate results.

Where is your business based?

Fifth & Cor is primarily based in South Florida but we have employees all over the east coast.

How did you start your business? What were the first steps you took?

When Fifth & Cor was first launched it was all about spreading the word and telling the world about us! Being active in the community really contributed greatly to our growth, as well as having a great website designed by my team, a robust social media marketing strategy, partner relations, and much more.

What has been the most effective way of raising awareness for your business?

When it comes to raising awareness for our business, we've discovered a winning formula that combines the power of marketing initiatives with engaging events. We've learned that it's not just about putting our brand out there but also forging meaningful partnerships and building strong relationships within our community. By investing in these vital aspects, we've seen our awareness soar to new heights, creating a buzz and capturing the attention of our target audience.

What have been your biggest challenges and how did you overcome them?

The ever-changing landscape of marketing platforms and the constant saturation of new platforms that emerge each day. We’ve learned to be agile and shift with the new updated rapidly.

How do you stay focused?

We have an incredible leadership team who has created very strong KPI’s. It is those KPI’s that we leverage in our strategy for growth.

How do you differentiate your business from the competition?

Extremely different. We focus on leveraging and integrating emerging technologies into your company's strategy. We are not an agency.

What has been your most effective marketing strategy to grow your business?

Establishing a solid community and partnerships through the power of networking.

What's your best piece of advice for aspiring and new entrepreneurs?

Always be innovating and improving yourself. Embracing physical challenges removes work-related stress by putting it elsewhere

What's your favorite app, blog, and book? Why?

My favorite app would be LinkedIn. Our community is everything to us and the growth of Fifth & Cor. It’s important to us to be able to connect with them daily.

I might be biased but our Cor Confessions blog is worth checking out for any business owners. Our team shares unbiased updates on current happenings in marketing and innovation. It’s important to me that each of my team members positions themselves as thought leaders so we give them free reign when it comes to our blog.

Measure What Matters talks about KPIs and goal setting. Our entire leadership team had read it to ensure our goals are positioned correctly and strategically.

What's your favorite business tool or resource? Why?

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again - people are the best resource. You simply cannot be good at everything and even if you were, you cannot do it all. Rely on your relationships as they will carry you and fill in your gaps.

Who is your business role model? Why?

I look up to all of our clients. Getting to interact with other business owners on the daily is extremely fulfilling. Everyone comes from a different background and has different reasons for doing what they do. Each and every one of them inspires me in a different way.

How do you balance work and life?

Truthfully, as a business owner, there isn’t much of a balance, and if you love what you do, that’s okay. Your passions will drive you, so make sure you’re doing something you love.

What’s your favorite way to decompress?

There are numerous ways I decompress. Whether that be a walk on the beach, spending time with my family or trying a new recipe (food is my love language), finding these outlets will be crucial for your health and the success of your business.

What do you have planned for the next six months?

From now through the end of the year, my main goal is to continue growing Fifth & Cor and continue cultivating current and future partnerships. My aim is to eventually phase Fifth & Cor from being a marketing and innovation company to an innovation and technology company.

How can our readers connect with you?

You can connect with me on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter for updates, insights, and engaging discussions. I’d love to hear from fellow female entrepreneurs.
